Representatives from the Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry Museum Trust make the trek from Nottinghamshire to Hay to see the show. Keith Douglas served with the Sherwood Rangers and we were honoured to have the past, current and future Honorary Colonel of the Sherwood Rangers at UNICORNS, ALMOST in Hay-on-Wye.

We were pleased to have other servicemen and veterans at this show, along with representatives from the Hay-on-Wye branch of the Royal British Legion.

Many thanks to Kelvyn Jenkins for playing the Last Post on the bugle at the end of the show on Thursday 31 March 2018, and we laid a wreath on the war memorial in Hay in memory of Keith Douglas who died on 9 June 1944, three days after the D-Day landings in Normandy.

‘Dan [Krikler] was truly exceptional’ – Major Mark Smith, Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry Museum Trust

“We much enjoyed seeing the play yesterday and thought Dan’s performance was excellent. Simply astonishing to memorise that entire script!” – Colonel Murray Colville, Chair of the Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry Museum Trust
